Organic Bamboo Pads
2 absorbencies
Our winged pads are made with organic bamboo, combining silky-soft comfort with round-the-clock leak protection. They are available in two absorbencies – Day (Medium) and Night (Heavy).

Period pads are easier to use than tampons as they do not require insertion! They are also great for overnight use, with a lower risk of toxic shock syndrome.
If you want to go swimming during your period, a tampon or period cup may be a more suitable option to prevent the pad from absorbing water.

Jennifer N. –
I love Grace and Green's pads – they are super soft and comfortable to wear.
Chelsea B. –
When I moved to the UK from the U.S., I had been looking everywhere for a product that ticked all the pad "must have" boxes, and I became a new convert after trying the Bamboo pads and liners. They aren't itchy/irritating, and are soft and absorbent. Great adhesive to them and doesn't unstick after longer wear. Night pads are longer in size and my preferred as I'm in my late 30s, so I wear them for both day and night. I had a mistake in my subscription, and Melody at G&G customer service went above and beyond to help me sort it out — enough so that I had to write this review because great customer service is rare these days. Highly recommend!

Very happy with purchase.
SweetChild –
I absolutely love these. So much comfier than my usual brand. I love that they feel really soft compared to my usual brand. They coped well with a heavy flow. Pretty good value too. Very impressed.
Edwina G. –
I've been happy with the bamboo pads, it is not something I've bought specifically for myself before but decided to give them a try. I think for the price and being plastic free they are excellent value and curious now to try the bamboo day pads.

Now these hit everything I think good about liners. Yes certain age and you tend to have some issues but these are those little helping items. You can cough or sneeze and not feel like everyone knows about it, no leaks with these liners. They feel comfortable, long enough but no bulk. I must admit I did wonder if they would be absorbent enough but they are. All come in their own little wrappers so disposing of them not a messy job either. Yes they are great only issue I think though is the cost of them for the thirty six. I feel like I might be doing something good for the planet but at a cost to my purse that’s the problem.
Sarah Faichney –
The older I get, the less I like the idea of using tampons – especially overnight. What always put me off pads was the sweating. I’m delighted to report that, with both the day and night pads, I didn’t feel sweaty at all! They’re lovely and soft, and up to the task of coping with tsunamic levels of peri-menopausal period product. Super comfy and an ethical brand. It’s a yes from me!
N Russell –
Not something I would buy again but ONLY because of the price. I wish these were more affordable as they are genuinely the most comfortable pads I have ever used. They are soft and gentle to skin. They don’t have that plasticky feel cheap pads have. It keep you feeling clean and dry for hours on end. They feel like you’re not wearing a pad: they’re so soft, they almost feel like fabric. I hope these become more popular and, in turn, become cheaper as I would 100% buy them again if they were more affordable.
Honest Reviewer –
When it comes to sanitary pads, women deserve comfort and maximum protection. Some brands fall off on either one of these points, though Grace & Green really does tick off all of the boxes! Firstly, these were presented beautifully. I love how their eco-friendly ethos carries through from the packaging to the product. A lovely branded cardboard box and neatly packed inside was x2 of both the Night Pads and the Day Pads. The packaging of both pads were really nice. I love the branding of the box and I also love that each pad is wrapped individually with a very gentle protection sheet with Grace & Green packaging. Super professional! The pads are super soft too and don’t irritate the skin. Absorption could be a little better, especially for the night pads. Though still, despite heavy bleeding at night, these pads still did a fantastic job at absorbing all of the blood. They also have wings so rest assured the pad won’t be sliding anywhere. Great adhesion and easy to remove when needing to change. A truly fantastic brand that cares about the environment as much as their customers. 5 stars! Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)
Hadi –
These pads have a very nice long shape and size with good sticky wings. They adhere very well. The material of the surface is soft but does get bunched and start to rip apart after a few hours so it isn’t the strongest surface. They aren’t bad though for night wear.
Ayami –
I think I actually audibly gasped the first time I opened one of these pads – they’re so soft! I usually use Always combined with Tampax and I am so glad that these do not have a scent. I’ve used these through two cycles now and I do like them. I still use the combination of the two as I have quite heavy periods so these were absorbent enough for me and worked well even overnight as long as I did a mid-night change if not using a tampon (just as I would with Always). One thing I did notice though was compared to Always which soaks in and under the top layer, the blood does dry on the top so it doesn’t feel as clean. I love the packaging with these – cardboard boxes. I would recommend them.

Once you’ve tried Grace & Green there’s no going back. Other sanitary pads feel like sandpaper after using these. This multi-pack contains two boxes of bamboo day pads (10 per box) and two boxes of bamboo night pads (8 per box). I absolutely love the boxes these pads come in – they look so good with the bamboo print that there’s no need to hide them away. The pads are individually wrapped and the wrapper has a sticky seal so you can use it for disposal. The quality of Grace & Green sanitary pads is outstanding. They are so soft that you can easily forget that you’re even wearing them. They fit better than other pads as they have smaller wings so it’s much easier to wrap them around your underwear without them bunching up and sticking to your skin. I thought I was happy with the sanitary pads I’ve Always used but these are so much better. Grace & Green pads are supersoft, absorbent and have good adhesion. They’re amazing value for money at just £2 per box (at the time of review) and I’m definitely switching to Grace & Green from now on. Very highly recommended. It’s time to make that time of the month a little more comfortable.
Hello World! –
I was not expecting bamboo pads to be comfortable and soft. These green and green bamboo pads are light, easy to use and so small comes in handbag too. Material is soft and absorbs the liquid. Come in two varieties of day and night. On a heavy flow day I had to change more than two times. It has all qualities which any big brands has. Best part these are eco friendly products. Hence price is also high £8 for 36 pads packet which is £4.5 per pad. If money is not a problem I would highly recommend green and green biodegradable pads.
Love reviewing –
This box contains 3 x 24 pack (72 pads in total). Each pad is individually wrapped and these are eco pads. As well as being better for the environment (all packaging can be recycled) it is also more natural for the body. The pads are very thin and they are just standard size- not the usual long size that you see for night time use. The thinnest I have seen and I would say that these are only for very light use. At the end of a day I found that these were starting to fluff and come apart so I don’t think they are as hard wearing as some on the market.
Kiriyama77 –
This is one of the comfiest and softest pads I’ve ever used. Absolutely no complaints there. Personally I usually use Always but wanted to try bamboo just to see. As comfy as they are they don’t have the layer on the surface that Always (and I assume other brands) have that keeps the pad from fluffing up. This will be because of the natural no chemicals thing they have, which I get, but I found it affected the pads use because it would start to get all fluffy and little bits of fluff would get on you and your underwear. I used this near the end of my monthly when it’s much lighter so I can’t say how effective it would be during the peak, but I’m not willing to risk it based on my experience. Certainly worth a shot to see if you like it, but personally I’m going to stick to Always.
Natasha R. –
So happy with how soft they feel, I'd wear them every day! :P
Banjonic –
First of all they come nicely packaged in a box and then there own boxes, the pads are individually wrapped. They are soft and so comfortable to wear. I did find that they were perfect on my lighter days but unfortunately they were not enough for my heavy days.
Sylwia S –
I have this Grace & Green bamboo sanitary pads in a set of 4 packs – 2 x day and 2 x night pads. They arrived nicely presented /boxed. Together there are 36 individually wrapped pads . These pads are ultra thin with wings. Pads stay in place nicely, are very soft, comfortable and didn’t cause any irritation. They absorb well. Nice pads, especially for ‘lighter’ days.
Mersa & Sean –
These are very good pads. I have moderate to heavy flow for the first two days of my period and they have been reliable. I’ve had no leaks. I changed every 3 hours which is normal for me. There was no smell either. They stick well on underwear and are comfortable to wear. I recommend them!
J. Leckie –
I can’t fault these sanitary pads. They provide perfect protection – no leakages at all. They are comfortable to wear with no irritation. The packaging is neutral so perfect for my handbag. I like the environmental credentials too.
cailleach –
The pads come beautifully packed in a card box that feels like opening an expensive spa gift. The boxes are very tastefully decorated with bamboo branch graphics and are nice and compact (like a large face cream box). The top of the boxes of pads have a card tab that rips off to open the box and the box can be closed using a the flaps that have a tab one side and a slit opening on the other side. All well thought out. Cool and calm looking. Inside the box the pads are tightly packed so the box can be so compact. They are individually sealed in a plastic(?) pouch just like Bodyform pads. I found the cover a little tricky to remove as it has two glue dots that are stuck to the peel away strip on the back of the pad. Once open the pads look like ordinary pads with a backing strip and strip closure over the front of the pad holding the wings in place. The day pads are a little longer than usual normal pads. They are very soft and comfortable to wear. My daughters dislike wings but they over came their reluctance and tried these pads and really liked them. They especially like that they are made from bamboo and a bit more eco friendly that their usual Bodyform ones. I love that they aren’t scented as so many pads are from the big brands. We both agree they are very soft and comfirtable to wear. The Night time pads have wings and are very long (as you would expect). They seem to be long but only have the same absorbancy as the day time pads, so they are fine for my daughters who have fairly light flows but no use for a peri menopausal night time potential flood or a heavy period. At £11.50 for the four boxes the pads are more expensive than the “big brands” but are cheaper than many other eco friendly sanitary products, so I think they are good value. the packaging is lovely and a lot less garish than the “big brands”
One wee witch –
It is undeniable that we must all make small changes toward a more sustainable lifestyle to protect our environment. These sanitary pads offer such a change. They are made from Bamboo which is sustainable and entirely biodegradable material with the plant absorbing more CO2 than trees and producing 30% more oxygen. These pads are made with no plastics whatsoever – even the wrapping is plant based and biodegradable. There are no toxic ingredients or bleaches and the pads are soft and absorbent while remaining entirely compostable. I ordered a set of day pads, which are ideal for wearing during your normal daily routine. The pads were thin and had wings which held them securely in place and were comfortable to wear. I liked the simple, stylish design of the boxes and felt entirely comfortable using these pads. They are more expensive than other sanitary pads, but I feel that the cost is justifiable for such an eco friendly product.
Sian –
Had no issues with either the day or night pads. No leakage or anything. Was out of the house for about 4 hours and would have changed but forgot to take anything with me but didn’t actually need to change it as these absorb quite well. Comfortable as well, I have quite sensitive skin but have had no irritation with wearing these. They’re a nice size, not too big not to small in my opinion.
LMNUK01 –
These pads are made from 100% organic bamboo, are individually wrapped (this is biodegradable) and stick onto the underwear well. I have been having periods since I was ten, so I’m sad to admit that’s 30 years of horrible plastic pads gone to landfill :( These bamboo pads feel very soft and secure and the only negative I can see is the price – but that’s understandable! I think I will be making the swap to these pads, much better for the environment and me – thanks to them not containing any nasties!

Miss S –
This day&night sanitary pads came very nicely packed. If you are someone who has always preferred pads but hasn’t quite found the right fit …. these are great and definitely worth a go. Not only are they eco friendly but they are so so soft to the point where you will forget you are wearing them! I love that these towels don’t smell and don’t leave that lingering smell on your body that happens with conventional sanitary towels. I love the ethics behind the brand. They are so soft to touch, they stick nicely to your undies and the wings actually held despite me being such a fidget monster in my sleep, constantly tossing and turning. So nice to have a breathable, non-plastic backed towel. You genuinely do notice the difference in terms of comfort throughout the day and night. These don’t ride up into places they shouldn’t go which was my bugbear with conventional towels.
TheLibrarian –
I tried the night pads as I have heavy periods (I usually use Always super pads or night pads). The best thing about these pads is that they are so comfortable. They are very soft and I could not tell I was wearing them. Unfortunately, they were ultimately not suitable for me. They were okay on the lightest day of my period but not suitable for the heavier days. That has unfortunately been my experience with eco-friendly pads generally. If you have lighter periods these pads are definitely worth trying because they are so comfy.
M. Young –
First of all they look stylish and are nicely presented. The pads are very comfortable to wear. The cotton feel is much more comfortable and preferable to other well known brands. They do the job overnight and for the first few heavier days and I didn’t have an issue with leaks. My only criticism is they are not as absorbent as other cotton feel pads I have tried. Overall I like the look, feel and would look to buy this brand.
PL –
These bamboo night time sanitary are very thin: definitely the thinnest ones I’ve ever tried. These sanitary towels are very soft and comfortable – I couldn’t feel it at all. Eco friendly and biodegradable. Bargain for £2 for 24 pads.
Fluorescent87 –
Thin compact pads. Fit soundly to your underwear and don’t come loose. Gentle soft material that won’t chaff or cause any irritation. Effectively absorbent. I feel secure and safe when using these that I don’t have to worry that they won’t be enough.
Mrs. C. Swarfield –
These Grace and Green organic bamboo day pads are soft and breathable and super absorbent. Even though they are ultra thin they are very efficient at the job they do. Plastic free with no nasty chemicals they are eco friendly and all natural. Durable, incredibly soft these are definitely exceptional and I absolutely recommend for quality, plastic and toxin free, and a brilliant price. Five stars and I highly recommend.
Amazing Customer –
I’ve been looking for good cotton eco friendlier pads for a while now, and I have to say these are the best! They are pricey but they are 100% worth it. Over the years I’ve tried lots of different liners on the market and these are hands down the best!! They feel really premium and stay in place well. ********************* I just purchased these pads for the second time as I was very impressed the first time round. They do not leak and are a lot more comfortable than other brands I’ve tried in the past. Sometimes I forget I’m even wearing one! I’d highly recommend trying these pads as they are well made and much better for the environment. I will be continuing to use these in the future!
Gabriele B. –
These day pads are amazing! Very soft absorbent and comfortable. Pads stick very well to underwear.
The box design is beautiful too.
The quality is very good and I highly recommend them!
