Our applicator helps with proper insertion of your tampon and is made of biodegradable cardboard. For your body and our planet.
Not all bodies are the same, and while applicators work well for many, we also offer non-applicator tampons, period cups, and pads as alternative options.

- Wash your hands before you begin.
- Unwrap your tampon but keep the applicator in place.
- For comfort and ease, we recommend trying different positions, such as sitting or standing, to find the most comfortable way to reach your vagina.
- Position the top of the applicator at the vaginal opening, and aim it towards your lower back (remember, your vagina is situated at a slight angle, not straight up!).
- Gently push the applicator tip in and then use your other hand to push the plunger all the way into the applicator – this will release the tampon inside of you.
- Now, remove the applicator carefully, leaving the tampon string hanging outside of your body.
- Wash your hands again.
- If you’re feeling discomfort, your tampon may not be inserted correctly. Try readjusting or pushing it in further until you can no longer feel it.
- Always use the lowest absorbency for your flow and change your tampon every 4-8 hours.
- Our applicator and paper wrapper are both biodegradable, so please dispose of them in your compost bin. While our tampons are made from biodegradable materials, the breakdown process can be affected by factors such as the temperature of your compost bin. For this reason, we recommend disposing of them in the general waste bin to ensure proper disposal.
- Crafted from GOTS-certified organic cotton, our tampons are free from pesticides, dyes, and other toxic chemicals. Our applicator tampons come with a cardboard applicator and are individually wrapped in recyclable paper.
- Our tampons are made with GOTS certified organic cotton which uses 71% less water, 62% less energy and produces 46% less CO2e than traditional cotton.
- Our biodegradable cardboard applicator prevents up to 290 pieces of plastic from entering our environment each year.
- Our paper wrap is a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic-wraps, made from compostable and biodegradable materials that will naturally break down over time.

Love this product for the fact it's organic and sustainable.
Also really useful that I didn't have to sign up for the subscription straight away, as when I first tried G&G I had not long started menstruating again after having my baby. Nice quality- really soft and absorbent. No tacky perfume either but they lock the odour away. Nice to know that they’re less harmful to the environment than regular sanitary products. They are definitely a bit pricier than shop bought stuff but I’m happier to pay a little extra for the reduction in environmental harm.
